George And The Dragon
Once upon a time there was a brave knight named George. George had many adventures as he traveled by horse across many lands. One day he came to a small village and met a man who lived in a cave next to the village, he was a hermit. The hermit told the knight about the bad things that happened there.
A terrible dragon comes to target the princess and attacks the village every day. The villagers didn't know what to do. George asked the hermit for help to find a way to prevent the dragon from attacking the village again without king’s permission, and the hermit made a pact with the dragon.
The villagers will give whatever the dragon wants on the condition that the dragon will not attack the village again. With the agreement of both parties between the Hermit and the Dragon, the villagers gave the Dragon food, livestock, gold and jewels.
The dragon paid no attention to the agreement he had made with the hermit. After the residents gave him whatever the dragon asked for, the dragon was still not satisfied and continued to attack the village.
The king sent several troops of knights to capture the dragon with a bag of gold, but the dragon was so strong that the knights chose to flee.
The king's only daughter heard about this problem and thought about making a deal with the dragon, she would surrender herself to the dragon on the condition that the dragon would not attack the village again. The princess thought this would work, because the princess knew that the dragon was targeting her.
The next day without the king's knowledge, the princess went alone to the forest where the dragon lived, and told the dragon the deal she had thought of for months.
At that time, one of the villagers saw the princess talking to the dragon. The villager ran out of the forest to meet George and told him about the situation he had just seen.
After listening of the residents information, George rode his horse and ran through the forest to look for the princess. He was afraid that before he got there something would happen to the princess, and sure enough after arriving there, George saw the princess's body tied up, unconscious and wounded.
George fought with the dragon, for now he only focused on bringing the princess back safely, he succeeded in doing so and returned to ask for help from the villagers and the knight army to defeat the dragon together.
A battle ensued between the dragon and George, the villagers and the knights. Unexpectedly, the dragon died fighting them, even though many of them are injured.
George told the king that the dragon had been defeated by him with the villagers and the army of knights. Hearing this news, the king was very happy. Because of George's great struggle for the sake of the villagers, the king asked George to marry his daughter, because the king believed that George could protect the villagers and his only daughter.
After this incident, George and the princess got married, they continued to lead the village, finally the villagers could live peacefully with their respective families without worry.
